Evita - Altes Schloss in Grevenbroich

For me, the Evita Restaurant in the Old Castle is THE place in Grevenbroich to eat delicious, authentic dishes in a great atmosphere at a very good price-performance ratio. The staff is the best I've seen in the Grevenbroich gastronomy scene in a long time. Therefore, visits to Evita were an integral part of my monthly "meal plan" regardless of the time of year. No matter how full, everyone was always polite and made everything possible. So the article in the NGZ shocked me all the more that Evita should now give way to a concept that doesn't fit into this environment at all! Why do you have to destroy the existence of these restaurants just to pursue a web of ideas that will most likely not work here in Grevenbroich with the population structure. And sorry, there is enough chic in Grevenbroich, but not good cuisine. The decision is completely incomprehensible for me and shows an arrogance and hubris that is remarkable. I hope that the Evita team will find a new location that the old regular visitors can visit again as soon as possible. Because you will definitely miss the kitchen and the staff at the Evita.

The food was good, the lighting could be a bit brighter and the benches are not so good!

Cold pizza and not child-friendly if the child 2 years old laughs too loudly, you will be taken out. But guests with dogs and loud calls are allowed.

The pizza, pasta and salad were delicious and pleasantly large portions. Great ambience and plenty of space between the tables and benches. The service was very friendly, courteous and hardworking. The special requests were also implemented quickly and easily.

The service was okay and the food wasn't long in coming. However, my spaghetti with spinach and gorgonzola was nothing special and not aldente either. The Hugo was with so much mint, you couldn't drink it, I could have ordered cold peppermint.

The ambience on the terrace with the plane trees is very nice. The waiters are very attentive and quick. The pizza is big, the base thin and crispy, I can only recommend it. A visit is recommended in the heart of Grevenbroich right next to the castle.

Very tasty and inexpensive food I ordered something there with several friends. The food came relatively quickly, everyone was warm and everyone tasted super good. The staff was very nice and humorous. Super local 🤠!

So that has to be mentioned with praise, I have never seen such well-planned and implemented hygiene rules in a restaurant. Starting with the distance rules to hygiene measures. As soon as a guest left the table, the staff was there to clean and disinfect. The food, which is already very good anyway, tastes so good again. The very friendly staff rounds off the whole thing. Keep it up Conclusion: You feel good all around.

Very delicious Italian food with homemade pasta .... I have never eaten such delicious pasta. The house wine was great too. The conditions were very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere in the vaulted cellar is absolutely inviting. We would love to come back.

Great restaurant. We often eat here. So far, we have always been very friendly and served. The food is very good, fresh and tasty. It is the only restaurant I know where children are given preferential treatment and free food and drinks. Very good and keep it up!
